I’m currently studying at LAMDA taking the 8 week Shakespeare Accredited Course.

It’s been great so far and our first play were performing is 12th Night. I’ve been cast as Sir Toby Belch which gives me ample opportunity to play to my comedic strengths. He’s a sarcastic, drunk, funny character and has some great bits of dialogue.

We’re also taking voice classes, acting classes, singing classes, stage Combat, movement and more.

It’s incredibly intensive but I’m fully commited to the whole process. Having been a solo performer for so long other than my television work it’s incredible to learn to work with an ensemble. Suddenly you’re reliant just as much on other people as they are on you and its no longer just you and the audience. I’m really enjoying it.
